Omar with his new truck!

Babe and Cheddar on Brekke Lake

Cheddar at 5.5 months (80 lbs!)

Winter Wonderland!

We got new snow - about 10" - and took out all five horses. Omar drove Budd and Hank Jr., Karen drove Dan and Donner, and Friend Shelley drove Laddie. Took the trails through Warren's woods and it was magical!

Carole the Colts Fan!

I always knew that my sister Carole would turn into a 'blue hair' before me, but I think this is a little premature!

Giving rides in town

Today we took the three big boys to Fergus Falls to give rides to the public at Frostbite Festival. Budd and Hank Jr., in the foreground, pulled our wheeled wagon, and Ladd pulled Clayton's fancy carriage. I got to drive it!

Cheddar at 4.5 months and SIXTY-FOUR POUNDS

One-Horse Open Sleigh - Hey!

Guess what we did today . . . . . ???

. . . . and a newer picture of Omar with Budd and Ladd.

Here is a newer picture of Cheddar with Babe . . . .

CheddarBelly Still Little

OK, so this is a *really* old picture. Cheddar is now about the same size as BabyGirl. He turns 4 months old tomorrow! ; ) Also, since this photo shoot, he has learned to dominate the sunny spots (and BabyGirl in general!). Sorry the pic is a little small and dark; you can click on it to see a larger version . . .

Budd and Ladd Do Bonanzaville

Last Saturday, we took Budd and Ladd to Christmas on the Prairie at Bonanzaville. The temps were right around 5 degrees and the wind was blowing about 30mph. Not a lot of visitors interested in taking a wagon ride, but we had fun all the same.

New Horses on the Farm ...

Here are two pictures of me driving Bud and Lad down the driveway the day after we got them. They worked together just beautifully! Hank Jr. stayed in the barn, but you can see Dan and Donner in the background of the top pic, wondering who the heck these big guys are!

Cheddar at Eight Weeks Old

Look at those big feet! ; )
